Eclipse Properties

In 2016, Eclipse Properties, an independent property management company in the Midlands, started using Compliance Tracker, a regulatory compliance management system, to track all compliance across all the properties they manage.

Eclipse Properties was founded in 2008 and specialises in Residential Lettings and Property Management, Asylum Seeker Housing, Housing Consultancy and Supported Accommodation for 16-18-year-old Looked After Children. They have a strong focus on providing support to vulnerable young people so they can gain the life and social skills necessary for them to obtain and maintain independence when they move on.

Eclipse Properties must therefore keep all the properties they manage compliant: everything from gas inspections/boiler servicing through to electrical inspections. In addition, staff members working with the vulnerable young people must be compliant in multiple disciplines such as Equality and Diversity, First Aid, Care and Support Planning, Personal Safety and more.

Prior to adopting Compliance Tracker, Eclipse used numerous spreadsheets to monitor critical deadlines, though weren’t always aware when something was coming up for renewal. The system worked, but it was time-consuming and relied on constant manual checking.

We took all their existing property and staff data and built this into Compliance Tracker. They didn’t need to key lots of data in or wrestle with data import routines.

The system now alerts them ahead of time of all upcoming property inspections, safety audits and staff training needs. A simple dashboard updates them on all aspects of their compliance.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded into the system, so the evidence is on hand to support any audit or inspection.
